B02: Evaluation of Material Influences
The objective of subproject B02 is to link the diagnostic data of unique products with process-microstructure property relationships of the products and processes in the circular factory. For this purpose, a comprehensive material and attribute analysis of the components of the sample is carried out in order to select test procedures for the existing material states and to transfer them into an information model for measuring and test agents. The determined process-microstructure-property relationships are transferred into material models. Serve to develop multimodal testing and evaluation methods for component diagnostics and generation of “Remaining Useful Life” models for the components.

Dr.-Ing. Dietrich is well versed in the field of material characterization, the interaction between microstructure and durability and the non-destructive testing of materials.
Prof. Schulze is an expert in the field of materials and process engineering to mechanical surface treatment and heat treatment.
